Walking around Philadelphia
the objects that i have collect or gathered are from my house and then when I cam back to school i went out and took pictures one of the objects being my mitten since it was really cold this past weekend and this week. it was nice to get out and explore the city and even Temple University one morning I woke up early and went out and took pictures while no one was out and it was really nice and especially since I'm used to Temple being really crowded
Temple Travels/ Lecture number 1
Before Temple Travels came and talked about study abroad. Students came and spoke about different groups you can join. there was Todd from the Temple Sculpture Garden and they are working on a garden at the Penrose Recreation Center. People from Produce talked about how they get community based artists come and speak or even have an exhibition at Tyler. Allison said that it is a big commitment to join since it is a lot of work in order to get artists to come. Lastly Mary Jachetti from Tyler Student Alliance talked about what they do and that they talk about issues that are going on at Tyler for example grading. Finally Temple Travels talked about study abroad that really interests me because i plan on studying abroad. she talked about reasons why you should study abroad and when the best time to go is, like a rising sophomore or junior year. She said that it would set you apart from your other peers when studying abroad. she also mentioned finances and how it can be the same price as Temple tuition if it is a Temple Program. she also talked about needing a 2.75 GPA and two letters of recommendation. this lecture really helped me in knowing what i need to do in order to study abroad in the future.
